Practice one of Dani's favorite sequences. All of the little nuances throughout the practice are designed to release tension in the muscles and create space. You may not see a lot of big movement because a lot of the actions are invisible to the eye, but can be felt deep within the body. These traction stretches will help decompress any areas that may be tight or compressed due to how you sit, stand and simply go through your everyday life. Recommended props: 1 strap, 1 block

On day nine, I feel safe saying that these are good classes to bookmark. They aren't strenuous enough to leave you flattened, demanding enough to wreck you for a day, or hard enough to have you hiding in balasana, but they are practical and effective, which is everything you need. Danni's delivery is always upbeat, with clear instructions, advance notice of what's coming, and a supportive attitude, with abundant options for safety, recovery, and adaptation. Even when one part of the body is the focus, each session is balanced; there's a holistic approach across the course. The classes are short enough to fit into any day. That's great, because one round of strength-building yoga classes isn't going to keep you strong forever. You may not break a sweat every time, but you will feel better: not only stronger, but also are aware and grounded. Journey to Strength is a series to revisit. Thank you for creating it!

I shared this challenge with a lot of friends who are yoga beginners, and only had a yoga mat. Day two's challenge consisted of moves where equipment like blocks or straps are necessary. It would've been great if we were told up front what we needed. Even I only had one block, and could not complete the two-block exercises properly.

Loved the block work. My shoulders and upper back are way tight. If I repeated the strap postures, I would lengthen the strap. Since I think it's more important to introduce some mobility in the shoulders and upper back, than do a perfect posture. Another good day. Thanks

I especially enjoyed the pace of the first workout in the series. I admit that I also liked that it was short and sweet. The last low lunge sequence was really hard on my knees. I may have been doing it wrong and an alternative would have been good. A small hitch in a great overall workout. Thank you!

Interesting first day. I thought it would be a little more challenging, especially seeing the poses in the promo photo. Will all the classes be less than 25 minutes? I'm trying to plan my wake up time in the morning so I can do this before work.....

All classes will be no longer than 20-30 minutes depending on the day! If you're looking for something more challenging, feel free to pick a different class from our entire library. It still counts!
