Day 2
Learn how to practice locust pose, or salabhasana, a backbend that strengthens the spine, buttocks, and backs of the arms and legs.
Day 3
Look at and practice bridge pose, a beneficial backbend that opens the shoulder, chest and spine. Recommended props: 2 blocks, 1 strap
Day 4
Warm up the spine with plenty of twists so you can get into dhanurasana, or bow pose, in this advanced beginners class. Recommended props: 2 blocks, 1 blanket, 1 strap
Day 5
Build the bridge to the backbend urdhva dhanurasana, or upward facing bow pose. Recommended props: 2 blocks, 1 strap
Day 1
Learn to practice one of the most commonly practiced backbends in yoga correctly. Recommended props: 1 block
Day 2
In this yoga sequence you will learn to practice upward facing bow safely and get the greatest benefits of the pose. Recommended props: 1 block, 1 strap

Day 4
Open up your shoulders and hip flexors as you work up to urdhva dhanurasana, a giant backbend that will leave you feeling confident and energized. Recommended props: 2 blocks, 2 blankets
Day 5
Warm up your spine, stretch your front body, strengthen the muscles that extend your spine, and wake up your abs in this short backbend flow.
Day 6
Open your chest, strengthen your back muscles and wake yourself up! Recommended props: 1 block
Day 7
Focus on opening the heart to connect to the fourth chakra, which is represented by the color green and linked to the quality and power of love in our life. Then, check out Mia's Vishuddha Chakra video. Recommended props: 2 blocks, 1 bolster
