I view my practice as a relationship. I fell madly in love in my late 20's when introduced to it by a friend. We've been together for over 10 years... Through the good times and the bad times. My practice is my mirror; it's where I can be my very best self, and it's where I can see my worst self and create the changes and space I need to evolve.
My students say my class is hard, and I say life is hard right back! My students appreciate my humor, humility and style of teaching. I always show up as ME. They know they will be offered a challenge, however I create an environment where they can check in and make the choice to back off and be an imperfect human being at any point.
