Lily began teaching yoga in 2005 in the California Bay Area and has been a full-time instructor since 2006. She has taught in yoga studios internationally, worked with an NBA basketball team, NCAA diving team, professional dance companies, and therapeutically with private clients, as well as creating the volunteer organization wOMen's yoga collective, which offered free weekly yoga classes to homeless women and children in Berkeley, CA.
Lily has studied with Shiva Rea, Ana Forrest, Don and Amba Stapleton, David Moreno, yoga for scoliosis with Elise Browning Miller, Ayurveda with Kameko Shibata, and Prenatal yoga with Marisa Toriggino. She is a California licensed massage therapist and has studied anatomy with Art Riggs, Thomas Myers, and Narelle Carter-Quinlan. Lily grew up in the dance studio, has studied ballet and modern dance her whole life, and prior to moving to Baltimore, she worked for eight years as a professional modern dancer with the San Francisco troupe, LEVYdance and as a freelance modern dancer in Berlin, Germany for a year. She currently makes her home in Baltimore with her husband, Aaron and son, Blaise.
