Challenging and interesting

I don't know why I was skeptical this was Level 3. I'm a yoga teacher and this class whooped my tail. Long, LONG holds that really reveal your weak spots. Amazing!

After 2 months of lockdown this was the PERFECT class. Holding the poses for long periods force a meditative mind, at least in my case. Thanks Calvin, extraordinary!

longer holds with lots of detailed cuing. The flow parts are slow, and i sped them up and did more sun A's and sun B's. Good challenging class

Loved this class. In the beginning I was worried it wouldn't be strenuous enough for me as the pace was quite slow, boy was I wrong!!!! I worked up quite a sweat with these strong holds. I'm so glad I went out of my comfort zone for this one. Thank you Calvin!

This was a really great and challenging class but hard to really get grounded in the poses because there was just way too much talking. The constant instruction though useful was a bit repetitive and could have been condensed to a few main points and then let the focus be on the breathe for the long holds. Otherwise a really good challenge. Thank you.

It was a lovely class. I would suggest removing the mention of Iyengar Yoga from this description: the teacher may associate moving slower with attention to alignment as Iyengar Yoga but the class really doesnt share much of the Iyengar principles or methodology. I also agree with previous comments that it should be catergorized as a level two. Particularly because Calvin’s verbiage is more about teaching the fundamentals of a pose.

Very challenging and as Calvin said, when you do long poses, you begin to expose your weaknesses. Excellent progression.

I actually think this is accurately classified as a Level 3 class, as it is quite challenging to hold the poses for so long. In the end, I feel so relaxed and challenged.

Such a wonderful class! Calvin is a real master of sequencing. I feel calmer and more alive after this intense strength and heat building class. Excellent!!!
